In this work I explore themes of youth, beauty and moral tension. The portrait depicts a contemporary man, reflecting how these ideas resonate today. Painted in oil on canvas, the portrait was first sketched in pencil and then developed in two thin, almost glazed layers, giving it a subtle transparency and depth reminiscent of classical technique.
