Giclee print on canvas "Climate Change, We Are Not" is within the collection of Haegeumgang Theme Museum in South Korea. The title of the painting is very important because I want to warn about climate change, however, we the people don’t change, because we act as if there is not a huge problem facing everyone. In the painting, the colors represent the unusual increase in temperatures. There are wildfires and black smoke. The green part, which is the forests and plants are ever decreasing. At the front there is a person who is in panic, extreme fear and disturbed because of everything he/she sees happening in front of their eyes. This problem, climate change, are much bigger than this person in all circumstances. With this artwork, I wanted to show that we are not separate from the damage we cause. Climate change affects all of us, and the earth is sending us warnings through natural disasters, heatwaves, and droughts. The painting is a call to action, urging people to recognize the signs before it’s too late. We must act now to protect the planet and ourselves from the consequences of our actions.
